R-Rated Comedies on the Rise!

R-rated comedies are grossing really well this summer - $1.05 billion compared to $1.01 billion for superhero movies (although, admittedly there are five big comedies out versus four superhero films)! Bridesmaids is doing particularly well, which is the baddassest news of them all, because female-driven comedies are proving to be the absolute best!
