An interesting observation today: There were more people out on the NYC streets decked out in green today (and being obscenely drunk at noon) than there were people wearing red, white, and blue (or even taking to the streets at all) on the Fourth of July. Not judging, NYC, but it's good to note that I live in a city filled with more faux-Irish pride than faux-American pride.
Not that I'm going to leave you guys on that note...
