Mitch Hurwitz Developing New Shows for Netflix!

Although not everyone was super impressed with the content of Netflix's Arrested Development bonus season, I think we were all impressed that it got made at all. Now it's good to know that Netflix trusts Mitch Hurwitz to develop new, original ideas for the subscription service. He seems to be taking a godfather-esque role for Netflix's comedies, acting as a "non-writing exec producer" for other new comedies they hope to develop in addition to the ones he'll create. It's a smart move for Netflix, taking a trusted comedy leader and allowing him to guide them, instead of just assuming they know what's funny. I'm excited to see what he comes up with!
