A University of New Hampshire student athlete just saved someone's life. A few years ago, Cameron Lyle signed up to be a bone marrow donor along with several other students from UNH. Several weeks ago, he got the call from the National Marrow Donor Program letting him know he was a 100% match with a recipient - a staggering one in five million chance. The recipient has leukemia Without the marrow, he was given six months. With the marrow, he's gotten at least a few more years. Lyle gave his marrow on the 24th. Unfortunately, he was unable to finish his senior year of discus, hammer, shot put in order to recover, but he knew it was a worthy price to pay to save a life.
