Mindy Lahiri: Post-Cool Girl

The Mindy Project has gotten infinitely better this season. The cast has gelled (the addition of ex-Happy Endings'er Adam Pally certainly didn't hurt!), the stories have made more sense, and Mindy and Danny's romance has built and burnt nicely.

Of course, the jokes have always been the highlight of Mindy, and they've been as strong as ever. Recently, ThinkProgress wrote up exactly why Mindy is such a delightful character: she is not a Cool Girl as defined by Gillian Flynn in Gone Girl.
